Vodafone Website - TOBi Chatbot

TOBi is Vodafone’s friendly digital assistant, and functions as the entire help section within the newly re-designed ‘My Vodafone’ app.

Working within the Vodafone Design10 creative team, I was given the task of exploring ways in which we could translate TOBi from app to web, creating a consistent user experience across both of Vodafone’s digital channels. My role as a UI Designer was to implement and expand on the newly defined design language, support in the creation of new design elements and components, and to take the look of the chatbot functionality to the next level, creating a simple, clear and intuitive TOBi experience.

Introduction to Vodafone’s Chatbot - TOBi

Using artificial intelligence to interact with users conversationally, TOBi can assist the user in numerous ways - from helping the user to check their minutes, data and latest bill, to providing helpful information like how to set up their new router, or what roaming destinations they have access to based on their tariff.

TOBi exists to provide personalised support, giving answers based on the user’s own account information - making him a focal point within the Vodafone experience.
