DISCRIMI-NATION

YouGov conducted a survey measuring public opinion on the severity of discrimination for different groups of people in society within the UK. Using this data, I created a set of eight posters, focusing on and featuring photographs of people of different gender, race, sexuality and religion, with holes representing varying levels of discrimination laser cut out of their faces. My intention for this project was to show that discrimination takes something away from each person it effects. To display this on each poster, I came up with a system that shows the more discrimination the public feels a particular group in society faces, the more their face is obscured.
